My Review:

November 9 by Colleen Hoover , may very well be my FAVORITE book by her next to Maybe Someday. What can I say about this book? Well… it made me into a crying mess by the end of it two nights ago.

Fallon meets Ben, the writer on her last day in  beautiful Los Angeles before her move to New York City while at a diner having lunch with her father. Over the course of five years they meet up on November 9th but with some tragedy or life changing event have taken place, positive and negative.

Fallon O’Neil is an eighteen year old actress and Ben Kessler is a writer in school who is a very witty, charming and selfless. While Fallon is self-conscious and confident all at once although she has her insecurities at the forefront.

This book took me a few days to get through, apparently I had to read it only in the evening before bed. This was a perfect reason to stay up late (1 a.m.) to read! I’m glad I did to fully take in everything that is Ben, the writer and Fallon, the transient.

Over the course of six November 9ths’, the two learn a lot about themselves as well as together and grow more for which I won’t spoil. This book made me cry, laugh so hard I had to run to the bathroom (tmi SORRY, no sorry) .

November 9 is a romantic, witty, hilariously funny and breathtaking story of two people who are in the midst of learning about life and themselves over the course of five-six years that involves a “Dawson’s Creek” soul mates type of relationship but not really Dawson or Joey. This story will leave you laughing and crying. No GO BUY IT!
